Check. This. Out.  My friend Kim sent me this page from Gridness that completely infiltrated my finer design sensibilities and caused a minor meltdown: what kind of people create such great work!? Who are they and where do I sign up to be trained by them? Organization of information, especially with this level of minute detail and attention to style, never ceases to pluck my heartstrings just so.

Behold:

Yipes. One would have to have a really rad art-director to sign off on these, too.

display font project for type ii.

weee, finally got my project back after 2 months of not knowing where it disappeared to. about 30 hours of labor, and 666 nails later.

It’s kinda’ funny to see this picture floating around on Tumblr ‘cause I see this guy every Monday/Wednesday morning for my history of graphic design class and I guess I sometimes take for granted how lucky I am to get to study with sucha’ talented designer.

“Obsessions make my life worse and my work better.”
(Stefan Sagmeister)

Stefan Sagmeister is seriously incredible. Rather than designing flyers for a presentation he was giving at Cranbrook Academy of Art, he carved the information into his skin and took a picture. Talk about attention grabber.
